Todd Snider released his Cash Cabin Sessions Vol. 3 in January of 2019 and I've been obsessed with it ever since. Recorded at Johnny Cash's home studio, the record is a stripped down, intimate affair that showcases the essence of Snider's songwriting talent. Snider's biggest influences are Jerry Jeff Waker and John Prine and I would speculate that he made his heroes proud with this one. Dig it.
