Ohio Rep.Michael Rulli appeared on Maria Bartiromo's Fox Business News show to say he is appalled at Democrats' rhetoric, which needs to be "toned down." The Ohio Republican must never have seen Trump's tweets or Truth Social posts before. He should check in on that! Or when Donald said in Iowa in July that he "hates" Democrats, saying, "I cannot stand them." Or how about Jan. 6th, when Trump incited a mob of his supporters to attack the US Capitol to cling to power.
Rulli discussed the Charlie Kirk shooting, the only school shooting Republicans have cared about. The Turning Point co-founder seems even more powerful to Republicans after his death, as they use it to silence the opposition. His widow started fundraising days after his death, despite Charlie's $12 million net worth.
"I'm going to put focus on the opposition, the Democratic Party," Rulli said. "You can't use this rhetoric about us all day long, where you call us Nazis, you call us monsters, you call us all these different words that are just horrific and they drive people to insanity."
Fact check: Yes, we can. Just ask J.D. Vance, who called Trump "America's Hitler."
"There is not one person in the Republican Party that is in Congress right now that hasn't had a death threat," he continued. "I've had a dozen this year. Your rhetoric needs to be toned down. You need to lower the temperature."
"When Joe Biden was in office, we listened, we watched, and we spoke, but we spoke fluently, and we didn't speak with this hate, and we didn't speak with these words that were drawing people to take action against us," he falsely said. You tried to kill our president twice. You actually killed Charlie."

Fact check 2: The first effort to shoot Trump was by a Trump supporter.
"Enough is enough," he added, "Stop the shenanigans and lower this rhetoric to a normal place where we could all exist together."
Trump has accused Handsome Old Joe Biden of having a "cognitive decline," repeatedly claiming that aides used an autopen to sign documents and conceal his mental state. White House fact sheets did the same, promoting the unsubstantiated claim that Biden suffered from a serious cognitive decline during his presidency. Meanwhile, Trump's mental health appears to be in decline, and his physical health doesn't look good as he's been seen with half of his face drooping, leaving people to speculate over whether he suffered from a stroke or TIA.
A nice-time Charlie Kirk quote: "Joe Biden is a bumbling, dementia filled, alzheimer's, corrupt tyrant who should honestly be put in prison and or given the death penalty for his crimes against America."
Yes, Kirk wanted the death penalty for Biden simply for existing. There were no "crimes against America," but there are now.
And let's not forget the false accusations from the right over Ashley Biden's stolen diary. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert were disrespectful to Biden during his State of the Union address. Of course, there's Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul, who was attacked by a hammer-wielding Trump supporter. He was hospitalized with a fractured skull and serious injuries to his right arm and hands. Trump mocked both Nancy and Paul Pelosi following the attack.
Charlie Kirk, on the other hand, called for Pelosi's attacker to be bailed out of jail. Pelosi's attacker was a long-time consumer of right wing rhetoric and conspiracy theories.
Trump launched a social media site to bash his successor daily.
Republicans often portray themselves as victims. And they're weaponizing Charlie Kirk's death. As I suggested, he's more valuable to them in death.
