I first heard of Al Di Meola when he was with Chick Corea's Return to Forever, one of my favorite jazz fusion bands of all time in the late 1970s.

When the song Mediterranean Sundance hit FM radio when I was a teenager, and I heard it for the first time, it blew me away.

Unknown to me back then was that it was a duet between Di Meola and the great Flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía.

Enjoy.
