U.S. District Judge Richard Leon ordered Trump to halt construction on his gaudy $400 million dollar White House ballroom until he gets authorization from Congress.

Trump will have 14 days to appeal the decision. Maybe Demented Donald will put Box-O-Wine Pirro on the case so she can try and get a win.

Politico reports that the judge explained his decision in this way: “The President of the United States is the steward of the White House for future generations of First Families. He is not, however, the owner!” Leon wrote in his opinion.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation sued Trump over his monstrosity and triumphed.

Trump is crying bloody murder over his latest loss. "President Donald Trump blasted the lawsuit in a post on Truth Social, calling the National Trust for Historic Preservation a "Radical Left Group of Lunatics" and defending the ballroom project as "under budget" and "being built at no cost to the taxpayer."

Good riddance.

At the ten minute mark of The Daily Show, John Stewart spends some time mocking Trump on his obsession with the ballroom that seems more important than the Iran war.
