Former Fox News host and current US acting attorney in Washington, DC, Jeanine Pirro joined Fox and Friends earlier today and whined that she's not even able to prosecute minors for crimes they commit.
Many critics have ridiculed Pirro for trying to prosecute and failing even to get an indictments from a grand jury which includes, Sean C. Dunn for throwing a sandwich at a federal officer. Edward Dana, Nathalie Jones, and Paul Bryant are a few more she failed to prosecute.
If she hates D.C. so much, why stay? I thought Trump eradicated all crime there?
PIRRO: This nonsense that your prefrontal lobe is not fully developed, and therefore you should be able to do armed carjackings, you should be able to torch a vehicle, you should be able to hold up a store, and you should be able to do these teen takeovers.
We had shootings, 15-year-old teens, and the bottom line is they go to family court. I can't even touch them.
Last night, unrelated to a takeover, we had 16-year-olds involved in armed carjackings and robberies.
I can't handle those cases. They're going to go to an ice cream social.
This is absurd.
In Washington, D.C., crimes committed by 18-year-olds or younger are considered minor offenses and must go through the juvenile section for rehabilitation. However, serious cases committed by minors, like forcible rape, murder, armed robbery, and burglary, can be tried as an adult if the prosecutor convinces a judge to do so.
Pirro's job is to follow Washington, D.C. law, period.
Box-O is a massive failure as an 'acting' U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C.
