Of course he was going to deny us the catharsis of actually seeing his name come down from the facade of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Of course.

Instead, a giant tarp was placed in front of the wall. "Nah nah, showed you!" Didn't matter, a crowd of onlookers cheered on the workers.

The removal was delayed by a last-minute appeal by Trump's minions on the board, which was denied.

They didn't just change the name of the Kennedy Center, they also changed the description. Calling a performing arts facility "The National Cultural Center" is ominous, given how this administration regard's the country's "culture" as white supremacy.
