On July 14th, 1969, Easy Rider hit the theaters.

I was too young to see it then, my parents would no got to it on their Friday movie night, but I did later on.

This was the movie that introduced me to Jack Nicholson.

Growing up in the 70's, this movie was our symbol, even if, as young teens, we didn't understand it all.

We did relate to the hatred of the police, the Vietnam war and the violence against a changing society.
