Ashley Moody was Florida’s AG when the settlement was finalized. She was later appointed by Gov. DeSantis to the Senate seat vacated when Marco Rubio became Secretary of State. She's running to hold that seat.

CBS News Miami stated Moody’s office signed off on the settlement without safeguards or oversight her office ordinarily required to ensure funds were properly spent—the guidance the attorney general’s office routinely provided to others. Moody won't answer questions from reporters on what she knew re the political use of the funds or if her office worked with the governor’s office.

A grand jury was convened to investigate. Yet no grand jury report's been publicly released. The Florida Center for Government Accountability said Moody's likely objecting to release of the findings.. Democratic Senate candidate Alex Vindman's said he suspects Moody's role in this fraud is much worse and challenged her to call for its release: if she has nothing to hide, she should demand it.

A grand jury report would establish, on the record, whether Medicaid funds were illegally converted to political use. Why won't Moody call for it's release?? You can hear it from Alex Vindman himself from my interview with him. Watch the video and go read the rest at BAM!
