There are simply only so many Big Macs and burnt steaks slathered in ketchup that one person can eat in their lifetime before it starts to become a real issue, no matter how many gallons of Diet Coke they drink in an effort to "watch the calories."

It seems Donald Trump is rapidly encroaching on that point of no return, as the Washington Post has released a new report in which several doctors warned that the 80-year-old president of the United States is facing the very real possibility of "premature disability and death."

It seems the big guy has packed on at least 25 pounds since his 2024 campaign days, and doctors are warning that obesity is one of the most prominent and reliable health markers when it comes to predicting an early grave.

"Obesity is a strong risk factor for numerous health issues, as well as premature disability and death," Scott Kahan, director of the National Center for Weight and Wellness, told the Post.

According to the report, Trump weighed 238 pounds in May and has apparently gained 14 pounds just in the time between his most recent annual check-ups. At his 2023 booking in the Georgia election interference case, his weight was listed at 213.

Dan Diamond with the Washington Post reports:

"[T]he president has appeared heavier in photos than he did during his campaign, and the administration said he gained 14 pounds between his most recent annual medical check-ups. White House physicians have said they’ve advised Trump — who has made little secret of his love for fast food and his distaste for intense exercise — to focus on weight loss, improving his diet and sustained physical activity. Outside doctors put it more directly: The 80-year-old president would be safer if he reduced his waistline.”

While medical professionals have begun to pull away from the Body Mass Index alone as a reliable tool for monitoring health, Trump's doctors, family, friends, and even Trump himself have all acknowledged that the president's weight combined with his proclivity for "junk food" and his staunch avoidance of any physical activity that doesn't involve a golf cart is becoming a serious concern.

Trump himself told quack Mehmet Oz, the reality TV show host turned head of Medicare and Medicaid, that, "The one thing I would like to do is be able to drop 15, 20 pounds."

Most recently, the president remarked on his own waitline during the White House Correspondents' Dinner just last month, saying, "I would never call anybody fat... I have my own problems, you know?"

Of course, that was the funniest joke Donald told all night, considering he's made a meal out of poking fun at others' weight, as evidenced by a compilation of clips produced by NBC News.

Former FDA head David Kessler expressed his own concerns regarding the excess body fat Trump is carrying around the middle of his body: "That visceral adiposity -- is fat around our liver, pancreas, our heart where it doesn't belong," going on to also raise concerns about "premature death."

White House spokesman Davis Ingle released a statement to the Post in response to the report, in which he, of course, nonsensically attacked Joe Biden:

"President Trump’s sharpness, unmatched energy, relentless work ethic and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the last administration when Democrats and the legacy media intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people."

Personally, I would encourage the president to eat all the cheeseburgers and steaks his cold, shriveled little heart desires.
