If you thought dogs weren't cool, check this out.

Thousands of people turned out for the 10th World Dog Surfing Championships over the weekend, an annual event in Pacifica, California, south of San Francisco. And the photos from the event are adorable.

Some of the dogs are already internet famous. Rippin Rosie, a 5-year-old Labrador from Santa Cruz, has over 300,000 followers on Instagram. Her celebrity helped attract some people in the enormous crowd, according to SFGate, with two women flying in from Los Angeles specifically to see Rosie.

Fourteen dogs competed in groups divided by size. The winner of the small dogs competition was Bradley “Shortboard” Cooper, who you can see in the photos below with his orange life vest. Iza Surf Dog won the medium dogs competition, who was sporting a very fashionable pink vest with a shark dorsal fin. Rosie, the Instagram star, won the large dogs category, according to ABC7.
