Nepo-candidate Michael Alfonso, Sean Duffy's son-in-law, went on Newslax to kick off his general campaign. All he managed to do was prove he was just as stupid and inept as his father-in-law.
Alfonso said that his top priority was to make Northern Wisconsin more affordable so that young families could buy their first home and start a family. Alfonso must not have gotten the memo that "affordability" is just a word the Democrats made up. But now we know why Duffy has been channeling so much money to his son-in-law, since the freeloader is still living with the Duffys. Duffy just wants to get him out of his basement.
Another thing we learn is that Alfonso does not watch the news. Otherwise, he would have already known the farmers aren't making it because of Trump's tariffs. The rate of farms going bankrupt is still rising.
Alfonso must have missed the news that Trump's tax cuts are for people like Trump and his wealthy friends, not for average Americans. It's awfully hard to keep more money in your pocket when Trump has made sure you don't have any money left. Alfonso doesn't have to worry about that, as long as his father-in-law keeps allowing him to sponge off of them.
It's sad when he can't even keep the talking points straight, even with all the rehearsal. It must make a former reality TV star cringe.
