With the start of the general election, Wisconsin reporters are finally starting to ask Tom Tiffany questions that go beyond whether he likes Thanksgiving.
Matt Smith of WISN-TV caught up with Tiffany and asked him a pointed question about whether he wanted Trump and his low approval ratings to come to Wisconsin to stump for him. Just watch how Tiffany keeps trying to dodge the question:

SMITH: Do you want the President in the state campaigning for you?

TIFFANY: That's up to the President. The President will decide whether he's going to come to the state or not. I mean, he's got his hands full both nationally and internationally. They're going to do the midterm convention, so he's got his hands full. He should decide what he's going to do because I can tell you I independently decide what I'm going to do as far as our campaign, and we're going to do what's best to be able to win this election. And do what's right for the people of the state of Wisconsin.

SMITH: Would you welcome him if he wanted to come?

TIFFANY: The president's going to make that decision. He's going to make that decision whether he comes to Wisconsin or not.

I like that little tidbit about how he "independently" decides what he is going to do in his own campaign. He's trying to shake off the label of being one of Trump's little bitches, just like Ron Johnson or Drunken Van Orden.

I've got news for the election denier Tiffany. That ship sailed long ago. You will always have that Trump-coifed albatross around your neck.
