Trump couldn't remember the name of the woman he just endorsed for Attorney General in New York during a rally where he used members of law enforcement as props while endorsing Bruce Blakeman for Governor:

A native New Yorker, Trump was in Garden City ostensibly, to help Bruce Blakeman, the Nassau County executive who is running to unseat Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul. Trump, who referred to Blakeman as “a friend of mine, for a long time,” made the visit just two days after the release of a Siena University poll that put his unfavorable rating among likely New York voters at 60 percent.

“I’m thrilled to be back in the state I love, and I do love it. So proud of it, but it’s going in a bad direction,” Trump said, knocking Hochul without naming her. “We’re going to change it around. “We get Bruce in there, we’ll change it around.”

His endorsement for AG didn't go so well:

President Donald Trump, 80, announced Friday his endorsement for New York attorney general: "Ma'am."

Trump appeared to forget the name of the woman he just endorsed to replace New York Attorney General Letitia James during a rally with law enforcement official on Long Island.

"Letitia James is essentially a dirty cop," Trump declared. "You have a person running, who I just met today...where the hell are you, Ma'am?" [...]

According to The Daily Beast, ma'am" was Republican challenger Saritha Komatireddy, and federal prosecutor.

Trump's cognitive health was repeatedly called into question this week by former Vice President Dick Cheney's cardiologist Dr. Jonathan Reiner.

"Over the last several months has he really looked like he's struggled to stay awake during the day," Reiner said. "This very stark abnormality is distinctly abnormal for the president...it's disturbing to see."

These law enforcement officers willing to be used as props just made the next AG's job harder by attending this fiasco. Hope you MAGA cops are all proud of yourselves.
