People have had a LOT of questions about Donald Trump's hair over the past several days -- after he showed up to a speaking event in Las Vegas with a headful of cotton candy-esque hair that was suddenly a putrid orange hue that seemed to match his skin tone without a hitch -- and now Michael Wolff's got answers.

In a new interview with Daily Beast's Joanna Coles, renowned author and former Trump biographer Michael Wolff took aim at the topic of the president's disturbing mop, reminding the host and Americans that, according to particularly close insiders (i.e., Donnie's own daughter,) the man is entirely Mr. Clean bald on the top of his head, going on to theorize that his sudden new looks are nothing more than his continued attempts to keep that unflattering fact about himself hidden from the public.

All it took was Coles quipping that the president's head now suddenly appears as though he's wearing a "hamster" on top of it for Wolff to sink his teeth in and take flight on the topic.

According to the author, Trump is hiding an embarrassing secret under that trademarked blonde (or orange, depending on which day you catch him) coif.

"Well, I can tell you what's... under Donald Trump's hair," Wolff said. "Nothing. That's actually what the top of Donald Trump's head is like."

Wolff went on to claim that Donald Trump's own daughter, Ivanka Trump, has reportedly long mocked her dear old dad over his tedious and exceptionally vain hair maintenance process to her friends.

Wolff claims that, according to Donald's eldest daughter, Trump's signature hairstyle is actually covering up a "an absolutely clean pate—a contained island after scalp reduction surgery—surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray."

When it came to Donald's new come-over style, Wolff described it as a "very central component" to Trump's career and his very identity.

"He's a performer. Fourteen years as the star of a top-rated reality television show," Wolff explained in the interview. "It is about people looking at you. He understands that, as so many politicians, by the way, do not."
