CNN's John King traveled to Iowa to interview people who are three-time Trump voters and who are experiencing voter's remorse to the point that they are seriously considering voting for a Democrat in the midterms.

Chris Mudd, an avid golfer, isn't considering switching parties yet, but is frustrated with congressional Republicans. He complained, "Housing is expensive. The interest rates are expensive, and gas is expensive. People are upset. They're frustrated with the way things have gone on. You know, I, I, I can't tell you that I'm 100% excited about everything that's happened. But I believe that there's some pain that we have to go through to get this thing fixed."

King also spoke with Lindsay Murray, a young woman who was born in China, adopted by a family in Kansas, and moved to Iowa to open a bookstore and start a family. She's hoping they can flip the district from red to blue. "We're just going to keep pushing and pushing and pushing," Murray told King, "and we just have no more, um, I don't know, a more diplomatic way to say we have no more f's to give."

Shannon Ebersole was the third person who King interviewed. She is a rancher who voted for Trump three times. She says that she is now strongly considering voting for the Democrat. Her big beef is the Iran War and Trump's broken promise of putting America first: "First and foremost, we need to take care of our Americans. And that is one frustrating point of the Iraq War is because I voted to take care of us first."

"And I'm not happy with the republican congressman. She sees as too willing to push the party line ahead of rural Iowa. Do you take a chance on a new democrat and say that would send a message? Right?" continued Ebersole. "I am really still leaning that way. Yes, I believe that change is always a good thing."

At the end of his report, King pointed out that Barack Obama was launched in Iowa amid a very unpopular war. As King said, "Iowa speaks up in the middle of unpopular wars."
