Michele Tafoya, the Republican candidate in Minnesota's Senate race, is learning to lie like the rest of the Trump administration, spinning a laughable tale of woe for her state and claiming Minnesotans are embarrassed to admit where they're from.

Every smear she used on Fox News was an absolute lie, although there is one huge issue that might make Minnesotans feel embarrassed about where they live that she left out of her tirade.

The unconscionable violence that was unleashed in their state from the hordes of shadow President Stephen Miller's masked and unaccountable ICE agents who ransacked Minneapolis, raining terror and death down on the voters she's trying to persuade. Not one word on that.

Host John Roberts said she had a hill to climb to win the seat from Peggy Flanagan, and she agreed.

TAFOYA: No question we do, but you know what, I just talked to Norm Coleman this morning, and look, we think all of those Angie Craig voters who feel that the Democrat Party has left them, that the Democrat Party has lurched way to the left, way towards socialism.

They know where it's headed. And we think that all conservatives will come home. We're going to get independents.

Big teeth Coleman in da' house!

"I've talked to Democrats that want to join this movement because they love Minnesota and they are tired of seeing this," she claimed.

Really? What Democrats would that be? In the latest polls, Democrats are not the issue.

When asked about their single most important issue in the upcoming elections, 39% said inflation and cost of living. The next top-ranked issues were health care, immigration, gas prices, and the war in Iran.

The poll also found that President Trump’s decision to enter the war in Iran is unpopular among Minnesotans, with 65% disapproving and 30% approving. His handling of the economy received similar marks, with 34% approval and 62% disapproval.

No one was worried about Socialism, Communism, or hating Thanksgiving.

TAFOYA: Minnesotans are exhausted, and John, quite frankly, they're embarrassed.

I have talked to hundreds of voters in Minnesota who have told me, gosh, I went on vacation this summer.

I didn't want to tell people where I was from because it's embarrassing.

It's embarrassing.

And it's true.

Tafoya never mentioned the horrific crackdown in her state by the rogue band of ICE agents acting like Trump's private militia. Tafoya didn't care that several of her Minnesotans were murdered by those agents.

Minnesotans are embarrassed at the state of the White House, not Minnesota.

And then we have people leaving, just like everyone else talks about these people leaving, businesses fleeing.

You're talking about philanthropy, innovation, all kinds of taxpayer-funded things leaving because taxpayers are leaving.

This is untenable.

We're going to save Minnesota.

Minnesotans are not fleeing the state. Private-sector jobs are strong. Manufacturing jobs are strong. Educational and healthcare jobs are strong.

Every state, including Minnesota, is experiencing some stress in 2026 because of Trump's inflation, energy costs, and illegal war with Iran.

Minnesota knows what's in its pocketbook and who is responsible.
