According to yet another leak in the boat that I'm sure will soon send Trump into yet another Truth Social tizzy, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt's recent decision to cut and run has wreaked havoc inside Trump World.
Leavitt is now the fifth high-profile female staffer to abruptly depart from Donald Trump's second administration, and those she's leaving behind allegedly aren't taking it well, as she was apparently one of very few who could actually manage to get a handle on the increasingly unhinged president.
Speaking with the Daily Mail on the heels of the news of Karoline's sudden departure, one source described by the outlet as close to Donald Trump said, "There were really only two women who could both appease Trump and challenge him: Karoline Leavitt and Susie Wiles. There is concern on how this administration will move forward with so much work ahead."
According to reporting, she has been planning to leave the Trump White House for a while now, but was struggling to figure out the best way to let the president down as easily as possible, given his well-known proclivity for dramatic temper tantrums.
Leavitt, 28, just returned from her maternity leave following the May 1st birth of her second child with her 60-year-old husband Nicholas Riccio on July 16th, clocking her leave in at just over 2 weeks. According to sources who spoke with the Mail, Leavitt ultimately returned so early due to Trump's insistent and incessant pressure, with insiders claiming that the president contacted his press secretary nearly constantly, wanting to know when she would return.
An insider stated that Leavitt's decision to leave the Trump White House was "no doubt one of the hardest decisions of her life so far."
Leavitt now joins the ranks of her fellow former Trump Admin women, former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, former Attorney General Pam Bondi, former Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, and former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem -- all of whom either quit or were ousted from the Trump White House since March of this year.
That's 5 women, in five months...
"What was meant to be a showcase of administrative discipline has devolved into an exhausting exercise in crisis management," one insider whined with respect to Leavitt's departure.
One female Trump Administration official said, "Trump demands absolute loyalty and expects immediate results. So that creates a meat-grinder environment where work-life balance is non-existent."
"Not only that, but they have to walk the ethics line of being devoted to Trump and also doing the right thing."
Insiders say it's now a battle to the death among Donald's most ambitious little staffers -- including fellow young blonde and former Homeland Security Press Secretary Katie Zacharia, Principal Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly, Trump attorney Alina Habba, and CNN political pundit Scott Jennings -- to take Leavitt's place.
