On Sloppy Steve Bannon's "War Room," Peter Navarro launched into an unprompted tirade demanding that prosecutor John Crabb — who Navarro says was involved in his own prison sentence — be fired.
In 2023, Crabb argued that Navarro "acted as if he was above the law," after defying a subpoena issued in 2022 by the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Navarro can't get past that.
Navarro insisted he'd never brought the subject up with Jeanine Pirro before, then immediately brought it up at length, raging about why the man is "still working here." He also worked in a complaint that the media unfairly frames Trump's DOJ moves as personal vendettas, name-checking his own case as proof it's totally normal to want your prosecutor gone. Here's the kicker: he capped it off by insisting, on camera, that he'd been "exonerated" — he was convicted of contempt of Congress and served time.
"Do me a favor, Steve, when I'm on camera, and you don't want to talk about something like Jeanine Pirro, never mention her friggin' name to me because that woman still refuses to fire John Crabb, the prosecutor who was involved in putting you and me behind bars," Navarro said.
"How is that guy still working here who pointed at me in a courtroom and said, 'I was above the law?' You get my drift," Navarro continued as Bannon laughed.
"Jeanine, are you listening?" Navarro added.
It's the Trump era, so of course, any of the President's people complicit in crimes want the prosecutors prosecuted. Has anyone done a wellness check on Pirro? We're worried about her.
