Kansas GOP leaders Sen. Roger Marshall and Ty Masterson sound the alarm about the real menace in Kansas...drag queens. Forget tornadoes; the true threat to Kansas (and America) is...glitter and heels!
Marshall and Masterson are showing voters how Republicans care about the issues that really matter to voters…drag queens.
The two MAGA politicians are trying to get voters to look at anything but the facts, and drag queens are a great distraction. U.S. Senator Roger Marshall and Kansas gubernatorial candidate Ty Masterson are performing Trump’s greatest hits in their 2026 campaigns because they know the GOP policies are deeply unpopular.
Kansas Reflector Opinion editor Clay Wirestone wrote an amazing piece about the “alpha males” Marshall and Masterson’s hypocrisy:
“The candidates for U.S. Senate and Kansas governor shriek like little girls, flail their hands in panic and beat a hasty retreat behind the nearest piece of overstuffed furniture. Who knows what that drag queen might do to them. If their recent social media posts are any indication, Marshall and Masterson fear they’ll be read to.”
U.S. Sen. Marshall and Sen. Ted Cruz took a page from 1478 and the Spanish Inquisition, calling a Democratic Senate candidate Adam Smith a heretic. But then they started banging the drag queen alarm.
Sen. Marshall: Drag Queens! Beef!
Florida resident and U.S. Senator Marshall screeched about drag queens at a recent meeting. He even posted about it on Facebook:
“This year, the Democrats have put forward the most woke Senate/Governor ticket in the history of Kansas on the ballot — and voters will say NO.
We don’t apologize for our family values, we say no to drag queen story times for kids, and we won’t take lectures from liberals on how much beef we should eat!
I always have, and I always will, fight for Kansas common-sense values.”
It’s not the economy or war...it’s drag queens.
Ty Masterson Attacks Because of Drag Queens?
Kansas gubernatorial candidate Masterson is trying to smear his opponent, state Sen. Cindy Holscher, because the Democratic nominee is a strong contender. Masterson attacked by tweet:
"If anyone needs proof that Cindy Holscher is a radical, here it is. She mocked Jesus Christ to defend drag shows for kids, and she's so out of touch that she doesn't understand why most Kansans find that offensive. That's not your parents' Democrat, that's the most radical liberal nominee in Kansas history. This November, the choice could not be clearer for Kansans."
There's a LOT packed into Masterson's tweet; he threw in everything but the kitchen sink...and DRAG QUEENS!
Democrat Holscher is breaking through the noise and putting a spotlight on Masterson's second job.
Masterson served as president of the Kansas State Senate and worked hard. When I say he worked hard, I mean Masterson held a no-show job with a Koch Brothers nonprofit. Not shady at all, amirite? Alpha male Masterson is “taking a break” from his Koch Brothers gig while running for governor.
Once again, the Kansas Reflector’s Clay Wirestone reality checks Masterson’s lies in his column:
“It’s the kind of cherrypicked statement intended to provoke righteous fury in conservatives and questions in self-professed moderates. It’s meant to make people so angry they can’t think rationally…It’s not that Holscher mentioned Jesus’ sexual orientation. It’s this: Ty Masterson killed the bill she was criticizing. He didn’t support it either!”
There's always a group for the right wing to "other" when they have nothing to show for their time in office.
