Standing like he has a golden tablet stuck up his ass during a press gaggle, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent admitted the federal debt was a big number, but immediately blamed Pres. Joe Biden for their issues.

Looking at all the polls, voters are not buying their constant lies and denials over the state of the US economy.

A reporter asked Bessent to comment on the $40 trillion mark the debt hit Thursday and what he was going to do about it.

"Yeah, look, the $40 trillion is a big number," Bessent replied.

Is this the first time Bessent admitted actual bad economic data?

"We are going to talk about the U.S. growth strategy and encourage the rest of the world to come along with us," he said.

WTF?

The world?

You can't grow your way out of issuing massive tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations from the Big Ugly Fucking Bill that shrunk government revenues by billions and hurt the entire working class.

You don't curb inflation by issuing illegal tariffs against our foreign partners. You do not help the US economy if you believe affordability is a hoax.

After Bessent claimed they would recoup the losses from the Section 301 tariffs, he turned to the only excuse left to him.

"And remember, we did not get here in a day that we were left with a mess," he said. "The Biden administration had the highest deficit to GDP in history when we weren't at war or weren't in a recession."

Methinks Bessent is forgetting to include the fucking COVID-19 pandemic!

Since Trump has been in office in 2025, he has added $3.83 trillion to the federal debt.

That's the largest increase of debt in 19 months since the 70s.

Since the 70s!! More than what Obama faced after the global financial meltdown.

Suck it, Scott.
