Fox's Rachel Campos-Duffy continues her pathetic attempts at revisionist history on how the pandemic was handled. During a segment on this Saturday's Fox & Friends Weekend, Duffy and her cohosts Charlie Hurt and Griff Jenkins took turns taking shots at Democratic Governors Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer for comments they made in a recent podcast discussing the lockdowns during the COVID pandemic, and how they felt it was the right thing to do at the time.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: It was so brave of her. I mean, the courage to cancel prom. She canceled graduation; she ruined childhood memories for people. That takes courage.
HURT: Yeah, and of course that little clip right there is so indicative of who these people are because they're trying to, like, cosplay almost like they're almost apologizing, but they're not apologizing!
They're like re-describing all of this as if they were the victims. She said...
CAMPOS-DUFFY: Or the heroes!
HURT: Yeah, they're the heroes, but also the victims. Well, I had to hear about it from everybody. And at first glance you might think, well, they're sort of apologizing. They're acknowledging that it was a catastrophe... their reaction was... but actually they're really not. And they're not taking responsibility, and they're not apologizing.
After taking shots at Stacey Abrams, and wandering off into attacks on Democratic Socialists and Kamala Harris, calling the Democratic brand "toxic," and AOC for her recent comments on "Woke 1," they circled back around to the revisionist history on COVID, calling anyone who, heaven forbid, tried to keep people alive during the pandemic "Branch Covidians."
HURT: You also have, you know, even AOC like laughing off. That was just Woke 1. We're not... really, we don't really believe in all of those things.
Well, yeah, you did believe in those things, and you caught... a lot of people suffered because you believed in that.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: I will never forget.
HURT: Yeah.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: We should know that. That's why it's so important that as all this Fauci stuff comes up, and more and more documents come to light, there needs to be accountability, and we must never forget how our constitutional rights were absolutely crushed by these Covidians and how our children suffered, and our elderly died of loneliness, and all the things that happened, never forget.
HURT: The Branch Covidians. I like that.
What we should "never forget" are all the lies these people told during the pandemic and how many lives they likely cost.
Back in 2021, Duffy was screaming against wearing masks and lying that kids don't die of COVID, and railed against kids having to wear masks at school. She also said that masks were going to turn kids into Chinese communists.
She's a crackpot anti-vaxxer who told people in 2023 that she is "coming around" to RFK Junior's position of not trusting any vaccine.

So no, Rachel, we're not going to "forget" what happened, and you're the one who needs accountability.
