On Tuesday, the White House asked the DOJ to find another way to prosecute Olympic canoeist David Hearn for supposedly vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting pool after charges were dropped against him by Jeanine Pirro as reported by the WSJ.
Trump was furious at his handpicked prosecutor after Pirro said the damage was "the result of flawed installation by the contractor."
As soon as Blanche was confirmed as Attorney General, Trump demanded his handpicked flunky take action.
During a press conference earlier today, Blanche was asked for an update on the situation and he took a page from Jebus Johnson's playbook and tuned into Sgt. Schultz.
"What about the reflecting pool?" Blanche asked. The reporter brought up Trump's latest demands. "Is there an update on where you guys are at?"
"I don't know what you mean by the White House has asked us to do that, but no, I don't have an update on that," he said.
"I think there's been a lot of comments and source-based comments about what, if anything's happening with that case, the judge ruled in that case, or we're waiting for the ruling, and I don't have an update, no."
After Pirro reversed course on July 31st, the judge dismissed the charges on August 6th.
The only person asking for more action against Hearn is Trump.
The case is dead.
But not for Trump.
Ellen writes, Trump Won’t Stop Trying To Punish An Innocent Man For His Own Pool Failure, and Jeanine Pirro has just convened a special Grand Jury. We all know what that means.
