Someone explain to me why these two aren't at home making someone a sammich if they really believe this.

During yet another segment where they found a way to twist themselves in knots to attack socialism on Fox not "news" this Friday, The Ingraham Angle host Laura Ingraham brought on TP USA's Morgann Brown to discuss what she claimed is some new phenomena, which is boyfriends living off of their girlfriends who have quit looking for work, and then end up being kicked to the curb later by the girlfriend.

Here's the exchange with Brown basically saying women should know their place and stay at home doing the cooking and cleaning and trying to blame the issues with men having trouble finding jobs on feminism:

INGRAHAM: Did you know that there is a new type of power couple in America? Yeah. She works all day to bring home the bacon, and he just lounges at home and waits for her to fry it up.

For only the third time in history, women outnumber men in the workforce. More men are chilling at home. Some stop looking for work altogether or dabbling and looking for work. And this has given rise to a new social condition or contagion.

It's the rise of the stay-at-home boyfriend. It's a topic that's burning up social media, and sociologists are finding that young women's liberal views may have their limits. Women, it turns out, still like providers and are not on board with this.

Here to react is Morgan Brown, TPUSA contributor. Morgan, tell us what's going on here. Is it really that bad out there for young women who want to find a life partner?

BROWN: It really is that bad out there here in society. And listen, this isn't just what economically it looks like. I think that this is a cultural warning sign that is plaguing society. And I think that Americans need to focus more in the private sector and allowing men to get jobs.

I know a lot of young men right now are trying to apply for jobs. They can't find them. And instead, they're being bankrolled boyfriends by their girlfriends, and then in turn the girlfriends are breaking up with them, because they don't want to support a man.

You're absolutely right that societally gender roles matter. Men deserve and belong in the workforce and men are... and women, excuse me, are better off at home, doing the cooking and the cleaning.

Like, I do think it's a little absurd that these women on this podcast are like, well, if they're cooking and they're cleaning, is it really worth it?

I think we need to really look at society and notice that marriage rates are on the decline. Women are having children later or not at all. They're freezing their eggs. And this is a direct correlation to the job market, economy, and also I think this is what largely the feminist movement wanted.

INGRAHAM: Yeah, I think it's a lot of things. I don't think it's one thing. But this is why, you know, I'm not gonna make this too political, but Trump's thing today with the mining jobs, I mean, these are massive new investments in great paying jobs in the United States.

These are the types of initiatives that rejuvenate communities, help rejuvenate and encourage the building of families, which is the most important thing.

This op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, Morgann, "Young people are hitting traditional life milestones later than their forebears," to your point.

"In 2025, the number of adults under the age of 30 living with a parent reached a record high of 49%." Well, either living off your girlfriend or living with mommy and daddy. That's not good.

As soon as Brown almost gets it right in response to her statement as to what some of the root causes of their complaints are, Ingraham cuts her off and starts railing about socialism in response, and pretending anyone who wants to preserve our social safety nets and protect the vulnerable doesn't want anyone to work either, or contribute to society, which is ridiculous.

BROWN: It's not good. It's a staggering statistic. And when you look at the housing market right now, it is almost unaffordable for any person under the age of 30 to even try and buy a house.

INGRAHAM: 40.

BROWN: So a lot of these young Gen Z women and men, even 40 exactly, they're stuck paying rent, going down the drain money, continuously shelling out and not actually pursuing equity into a property.

And you know, they're starting families later. They're not able to have thriving relationships. And I think this all just stems back to we need to restore the American family.

The American dream is so important. It used to mean that, you know, a family could thrive on a single income. And now many families are struggling with two incomes. So we really need to restore the workforce and the job market for men to get out there and provide.

INGRAHAM: Yeah, we got a roll, but socialism is going to, if we, people think it's bad now, wait till socialism destroys the need to work because everybody is on the government dole and businesses in the United States. So that'll be really great for the family. Morgann, thank you very much.
