Donald Trump sneaked off Air Force One in Turkey by hiding in a catering truck, then flying off in a different, less conspicuous plane. Late night hosts are already joking about the obese Trump fleeing in a catering truck. But he put a slew of others in mortal danger.

As The New York Times explained, Trump was escaping “a specific threat of a surface-to-air missile against Air Force One.” While saving his own behind, President Draft Dodger very deliberately put the press and some of his own cabinet members in harm’s way.

It’s beyond disgusting that Trump would deliberately endanger the press. But it’s not too surprising. What is more surprising is that he also put his own cabinet members at risk.

Those whose lives were deemed expendable included “Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, Communications Director Steven Cheung, deputy national security adviser Michael Needham and staff secretary Will Scharf, who this week was promoted to White House counsel, as per The Independent.

They are all Trump sycophants who have debased themselves in their obsequiousness to him. In return, Felon 47 didn’t mind getting them killed.

Those allowed to avoid the risk of getting shot down included Defense Secretary Pete "Whiskey" Hegseth; Trump caddy turned White House deputy chief of staff, Dan Scavino; and Walt Nauta; the loyalist valet from the Mar-a-Lago stolen classified documents case, now director of Oval Office operations.

Also spared was “executive assistant” Natalie Harp. The young blonde has a special relationship with President P***y Grabber. The Daily Beast described her as an “adoring” and “ever-present” aide who appeared to have spent her 35th birthday with Trump at his New Jersey golf course. You probably get the picture.

Not surprisingly, Trump is dodging responsibility for putting his top officials in mortal danger just like he dodged the military draft: by lying. “It’s really just up to Secret Service. I just follow what they like to do,” The Independent quoted him as saying. “They wanted me to go on a different flight, a different plane, equal safety. … I do what they say.”
