As Donald Trump’s unnecessary, botched Iran war and higher prices make him more and more unpopular, he seems to care less and less about his promise to lower prices “on Day One” if he were to retake the White House.

On Friday, President Golden Ballroom doubled down: “When you have to pay a little bit more – you’re at $4 [a gallon for gas], it’s OK. … I’ll never apologize. I did the right thing.” Tell someone already struggling to pay for health care, thanks to the DOGE cuts, or groceries or other staples, thanks to your tariffs, that higher gas prices are no biggie.

The compulsive liar went on to claim, “I had it down to below $2 in many states.” Reality check: Gas prices have not been below $2 since 2004.

By the way, if the war is so great, why hasn’t Barron Trump enlisted?

Trump says he’ll “never apologize” for jacking up costs on Americans because in Iran he “did the right thing”
