Frank Marino has always been one of my favorite guitarists. Blending monster tone with the tasteful use of effects, Marino is as melodic as he is gutsy. He could tear it up with the best of them and was never afraid to experiment as seen in this live version of the instrumental Poppy from 1979.

There are a lot of phenomenal guitarists to choose from, perhaps some of you could post a few of your favorites. Maybe something a little off the beaten path?

Can you help us out?
