An influential, yet modest band, Miracle Legion was popular in the Northeast U.S. college scene and received a lot of radio play in their native state of Connecticut. While their audience was small, it was dedicated, and they did reach the ears of many distinguished artists like Thom Yorke, Michael Stipe, and Frank Black. They essentially spearheaded the alternative rock movement that swept the '90s music scene.
